Inside the report

Visibility first. Then why, then the fix.

Most audits grade your on-page setup and stop. Citeify starts by asking ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, Grok and Claude the questions your customers actually ask, and recording who they recommend, where you rank among the businesses they name, who they cite and what they say about you. The six readiness categories then explain every absent verdict, and the findings tell you what to change.

1. Measured AI visibility, question by question

Ten buyer-intent questions, generated from what your business does and where it operates, put to six engines five times each. For every question you get a verdict per engine (cited, mentioned, or absent) and the businesses named in your place, read from the answers themselves. Then where you rank among them, which websites the engines cite, and the tone and the facts they attach to your name, checked against your own site. Re-run it and the same questions are asked again, so the movement is real.

2. Why you were not cited

Six readiness categories on the foundations you control, computed from measured signals so the same site gets the same score. This is the diagnosis behind every absent verdict above.

Highest weight

Citability

How easily an AI engine can lift your content as a quotable answer — clear Q&A headings, scannable lead paragraphs, explicit citations.

High weight

Brand

The trust signals AI platforms weight heavily: Wikipedia/Wikidata presence, Reddit mentions, Trustpilot review volume, YouTube authority.

High weight

Content

Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness — measured against Google’s Search Quality Rater Guidelines.

Core weight

Technical

SSR behaviour, security headers, URL structure, Core Web Vitals (LCP/INP/CLS), sitemap and robots.txt sanity.

Supporting

Schema

JSON-LD coverage: Organisation, Article with speakable, Product/AggregateOffer, FAQ, CollectionPage, sameAs references.

Supporting

Platform

llms.txt, IndexNow, per-platform readiness, AI crawler access (GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended).

Platform readiness

Each platform selects sources differently, so each gets its own readiness score. Four of the five are also live-measured in the question table.

3. The fix

Every finding is severity-tagged and comes with a concrete change.

A real example finding

Every finding is severity-tagged and comes with a concrete fix. Here's one taken straight out of a real audit:

High

No AggregateRating on any of 50 product pages

Product schema is structurally sound but lacks anaggregateRatingproperty. Without it Google can't render star ratings in search results — a measurable click-through loss across the catalogue.

Recommendation: Integrate the Trustpilot API into the product template; populateaggregateRating.ratingValueandreviewCountdynamically. Ready-to-paste schema template included in your report.

Severity grades

Every finding is tagged Critical, High, Medium or Low so you know what to fix first.

Ready-to-paste code

Complete JSON-LD blocks for AggregateRating, Article author identity, BreadcrumbList — drop straight into your template.

30-day action plan

Week 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 task checklists derived from your specific findings — not a generic to-do list.

AI crawler access audit

Per-crawler allow/disallow check across 14 AI crawlers — GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, more.
